Announcing
“In situ” an art exhibit and open house
at the home of Philip Jacobi,
146 Humphrey Road, Narrowsburg NY,
on Saturdays and Sundays during the month of June. 


Visiting hours are weekends from 1 pm to 5 pm or by appointment (call 845-252-7217).

The opening celebration begins on Saturday, June 1st at 3 pm with food and drink.

The participating artists are:


Julius Valiunas, a multidisciplinary artist of NYC


Julius Valiunas’s recent work encompasses the rural landscape using the expanse as an outdoor studio.
These outdoor ‘Country Canvas’ paintings on metal are arranged site specific, akin to signposts
along a highway vista. These metal panels on vertical wooden posts are positioned
to reflect sculptural space on two dimensional surfaces.
The images are eclectic with figurative elements and spacescapes in paint.

Valiunas worked as an artist/curator in New York City from the late seventies to the early aughts.
He graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and currently resides in Narrowsburg, NY.

Recent works of Philip Jacobi include small and large light boxes, table lamps that feature stained and colored glass
with repurposed objects for unique home decor and practical lighting.
A collection of Phil’s wood, mixed media and home design works of art will also be on display ,
plus his personal collection of local artists including Margo Spoerri, Nancy Wells, Juan Rigal, Marjorie Morrow,
Eva Drizal and Charles Hadley Blanchard will also be featured.

Jane Morris, photographer, studied at the School of Visual Arts and
International Center of Photography.

Jane has photographed for Condé Nast Publications and New York Magazine.
